Stratford’s Georgia Clark earned hitter of the year honors and Jenika Lombrana, of 6A state champion Atascocita, was tabbed as the area’s top pitcher, while Richmond Foster’s Kacie Pryor was named the 5A MVP.

The second team also featured pitcher Tessa Cantrell (Fort Bend Christian); catcher Hannah Scheaffer (Cy-Fair); first baseman Autumn Sydlik (Oak Ridge); second baseman Katie Cimusz (Atascocita); shortstop Sydney Hoyt (Barbers Hill); third baseman Alexia Pena (La Porte); outfielders Layla Lynch (Cypress Lakes), Alayis Seneca (The Woodlands) and Bailee Shashack (Katy); and utility player Kathryn Marshall (Brenham).
